The International Year of Plant Health, declared by the United Nations, is coming to an end. Man cares about the health of plants primarily because he receives food, raw materials, building materials from them and is interested in obtaining these products in the largest possible volume and the best quality, rather than sharing with insects, snails and fungi. To protect future crops, humans use mainly chemicals that not only kill pests but also harm other components of ecosystems and human health. One of the alternatives to chemical plant protection is the biological method.
