The monograph presents theoretical generalization and analysis of experimental data about spatial dynamics of fires, foci of foliage browsing insects and bark beetles in pine forests. Dependence of these phenomena and processes on forest site conditions, forest structure, localization in the forest, land categories of neighboring forest subcompartments is revealed. Methods have been developed for prediction the risk of occurrence and spread of fires and insect pests as well as information system of forest protection from fires and insect pests monitoring.
